BELGRADE
Serbia's Economy Minister Sasa Radulovic resigned on Saturday, blaming a lack of political commitment for economic reforms, accoring to Serbian state news agency TANJUG.
Radulovic took office after a cabinet reshuffle in September 2013 and emphasised the importance of reforms, especially in the labor act. The country's labor unions have previously called for Radulovic to resign because of bad working conditions.
Vice President and leader of conservative coalition partner Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Alexander Vucic announced he would suggest to the SNS Chairmanship on Sunday that early elections should be called.
