DAMASCUS
At least 85 people were killed on Sunday in several cities across Syria by the Syrian regime, activists said.
Assad forces killed 21 people in suburbs of Damascus, 11 in Daraa'a, 10 each in Hama and Aleppo, 9 in Deir ez-Zor, 8 each in Raqqa and Homs, 4 each in Idlib and Quneitra, according to the London-based Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR), which tracks civilian and dissident casualties.
Meanwhile, alliances associated with the Free Syrian Army (FSA) claimed to have crashed a plane in East Ghouta region of Damascus. The plane is declared to have bombed the Berze, Jobar and Douma regions.
Meanwhile, Syrian official news agency SANA reported that security forces defused many armed groups during operations in various Syrian cities.
