ISTANBUL
European stock exchanges closed Friday with losses.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 4.49 points, or 1%, at 443.31.
Germany's DAX 30 was off 118 points, or 0.77%, to finish the last trading day of the week at 15,234.
France's CAC 40 fell 68 points, or 0.96%, to 7,045, while Italy's FTSE MIB dropped 139 points, or 0.49%, to 28,504.
Spain's IBEX 35, meanwhile, decreased 33 points, or 0.36%, to end the day at 9,371.
The UK's FTSE 100 was the worst performer of the day, plummeting 95 points, or 1.28% to 7,360.
