Türkiye's BIST 100 down at open

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 13,236.57 points, down by 0.76% or 101.12 points.

At Monday's close, the BIST 100 rose by 0.4% to 13,337.69 points, with a daily transaction volume of 187 billion liras ($3.84 billion).

As of 10.10 am local time (0710GMT), exchange rates stood at 48.8205 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 56.0030 to the euro, and 65.3115 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,321.4, while Brent crude futures were trading at $101.6 per barrel.
