Ukrainian president meets Sweden’s king

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met Sweden's King Carl XVI Gustaf on Friday in Lviv, west Ukraine, the presidential press service reported.

Zelenskyy and Gustaf laid flowers on the graves of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine is “deeply grateful for this respect” paid by Gustaf.

“The memory of each and every one of them is very important to us,” he wrote on the US social media company X.
