More than 30,000 households were reported to be without electricity on Monday morning as Storm Dave hit southern and western Sweden over the weekend, according to local media.
More than 30,000 households remain without power, while the strong winds are reportedly delaying the repair work, local sources told broadcaster SVT.
The storm also caused significant disruptions to traffic as the Swedish Transport Administration reported "a very stressful situation" overnight and on Sunday.
Southern Norway was also hit by the storm, causing over 2,000 households to remain without power early Monday, while leading to train and flight cancellations on Sunday.
