1 killed, 2 injured in blast in central Syria

One person was killed and two others were injured on Monday in an explosion in Syria's central city of Palmyra, located in the eastern countryside of Homs province.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency, the "unknown explosion" occurred in a scrap collection vehicle.
