CAIRO
A British government delegation arrived in Cairo early Saturday on a several days' visit to get a firsthand experience of the situation in Egypt.
The eight-member delegation arrived at Cairo International Airport aboard an EgyptAir plane from the London, airport sources said.
Two more British government officials are expected to arrive in Cairo later Saturday.
The delegation is expected to meet on Saturday with interim President Adly Mansour, according to diplomatic sources.
Anadolu Agency could not get immediate comments from the Egyptian presidency on the meeting.
