JERUSALEM
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has claimed victory in Israel's election and delivered a speech at the Likud headquarters.
Netanyahu headed to the platform where he addressed his party's supporters. The crowd was shouting mottoes of "Bibi". Nearly 200 local and foreign press members followed Netanyahu's speech.
Firstly, Netanyahu stated, "I am proud of being the Prime Minister of Israel and proud of democracy in Israel".
Later on he added, "Israeli people want to keep me as a prime minister."
During his speech, he expressed that he was wishing to set up a government which would be wide ranged.
Referring to Iran, he said, "Our first job will be stopping Iran to get nuclear weapons."
It has been stated that 90 percent of the votes had been counted so far.
According to the latest results that 11 parties enter the parliament so far and Netanyahu's rightist alliance fell from 42 to 31 seats.
