BEIRUT (AA) – Two children lost their lives in Lebanon after the two separate rocket attacks from Syria on Sunday.
According to security sources, two children were killed and many others were wounded during the two separate attacks of Syrian army at the Hermel district on the border between Syria-Lebanon.
President Michel Suleiman condemned the attacks and stated, these kind of acts had to be stopped immediately as they target innocent civilians.
In regards to the attacks, Syria did not make any official statements.
Since the incidents took start in Syrian in March 2011, many peope lost their lives at the Lebanon-Syria border.
Last Wednesday, Lebanese Foreign Ministry sent a diplomatic note to Syria due to air operations held at the Lebanon border regions.
