United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said the date of Geneva Conference II on the Syria issue has not been set yet and added, "we have been expecting from opponents to be one voice with one representative".
Ban held a press conference after the UN Security Council meeting.
Ban said, he has had extensive consultations with the United States and Russia for the preparation of Geneva Conference.
Mentioning about the difference in opinions among Syrian opponents, Ban said, at present, Syrian opponents have met to unify among each other. "We have been expecting from opponents to be one voice with one representative".
Ban also said, we have continued the talks about who will attend the conference.
Ban added, "at this moment, l am not in a position to say when the conference will be held".
Ban said he was concerned about Hezbollah involvement in the war in Syria and added, "many actors got involved in the war in Syria. Primarily, the conflicts should stop immediately. After that, a political process can begin".
About European Union decision on ending Syrian arms embargo, Ban said, whoever supplied arms, l do not think it will help the solution process in Syri
