World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the women's singles semifinals at the US Open on Tuesday.
The Belarusian, who has won the season's final Grand Slam tournament for the past two years, faced sixth-seeded Czech Linda Noskova in the quarterfinals on the 10th day of the tournament in New York.
Sabalenka defeated Noskova 7-6, 3-6, 7-6 in two hours and 22 minutes to book her place in the last four.
Seeking a third consecutive US Open title, Sabalenka will face the winner of the quarterfinal between Jessica Pegula and Emma Navarro.
