ANKARA
Egypt's Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr has invited Turkish businesspeople to make investments in his country.
"Today we need cooperation more than ever. We attach utmost importance to Turkish investments in Egypt and we invite Turkish businesspeople to make more investments in our country," Amr told a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
Amr said Egypt was willing to boost relations with Turkey in also culture and tourism, adding that cooperation between the two countries was founded on strong foundations.
Amr said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's prospective visit to Egypt on November 17 would make great contributions to relations, adding that 12 Turkish ministers would accompany Erdogan on his visit.
"This is the largest Turkish delegation ever to visit Egypt," Amr said.
