ANKARA
A tender for the sell out of a 600 megawatt (MW) state-owned thermal power plant in Turkey on Friday closed with the highest offer of $2,248 million.
Turkey's 'Celikler Taahhut Insaat ve Sanayi AS' made the highest offer for Seyitomer Thermal Power Plant to sideline other 15 bidders including Dogan Energy, Park Holding, Aksa Energy, Limak Construction and Ozkar Construction.
The Seyitomer plant, made up of four units with an installed capacity of 600 MW, has an annual production capacity of 4 billion kWh.
