Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCEPA) has adopted a draft resolution condemning Syria over an errant Syrian artillery round that landed inside Turkey last week which killed five civilians, all women and children.
The resolution proposed by head of the Turkish delegation of lawmakers Emin Onen was adopted by consensus minus one during the OSCEPA meeting on October 4-7 in Tirana, the Albanian capital.
The resolution called on for condemnation of the Syrian shelling "in the strongest possible terms," saying that the Syria crisis risked escalation of the conflict in the wider region.
