ANKARA
Turkish Minister of Health Recep Akdag on Wednesday said that Turkish President Abdullah Gul's health was improving and that the problem with his ear would soon end.
Speaking to reporters in Turkish capital of Ankara, Akdag said that President Gul was treated by a good team of doctors at Hacettepe Hospital in capital Ankara.
Thank God, President Gul is in a good health now, Akdag noted.
Asked if a surgery was necessary for President Gul's ear, Akdag replied that he was not aware of such a surgery that may be performed on Gul's ear.
Gul has been undergoing a treatment for a recurring problem in both ears at the Hacettepe University Hospital since last week after cutting short his visit in Kyrgyzstan and having returned to Turkey last Thursday, August 23.
His doctors at Hacettepe University Hospital recommended Gul not to hold air travels for two months.
