ANKARA
Fleeing away from the incidents in Syrian city of Raqqa, Syrians continue passing to Turkish side from the southern Akcakale border gate.
People flee from the battle, which has started a week ago between military forces and Free Syrian Army, to Tel Abyad, a district of Raqqa, stated AA correspondent on Friday.
Many Syrians, including women and children, who wait around the Tel Abyad border gate because of the Syrian army's air attacks on Raqqa province, cross into Turkey from the Akcakale border gate.
Syrians cross the border with passports after a body search with help of sniffer dogs and detectors.
In the last one week, around five thousand people with passports have entered Turkey from Syria, stated the officials with the Akcakale Customs.
