DIYARBAKIR (AA) - August 7, 2012 - PKK terrorists abducted three Turkish troops who were on leave and travelling to their home for a break from military duty with a passenger bus in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Monday night.
Diyarbakir Governor Mustafa Toprak told AA on Tuesday that the terrorists blocked the Lice-Bingol land route and abducted three soldiers who were travelling inside the passenger bus.
After abduction, the terrorists disappeared with the soldiers in the woods.
Toprak said that the soldiers were travelling to the northern province of Trabzon for a break from military duty.
A security operation is under way in the region, Toprak stated.
