BURSA, Turkey
Almost 100 vehicles collided at two points due to foggy weather and icy road conditions in the western province of Bursa on Saturday morning.
Scores of people were injured after the accident that created havoc in the Osmangazi district of Bursa province.
Wounded people were taken to hospitals by ambulance. There have been no deadly injuries reported so far.
The rare pileup accidents extended for up to 2 kilometers on the road. Many cars, buses, trucks and ambulances were involved.
Traffic officers have started to remove the crushed vehicles to open the blocked road.
