ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Foreign Ministry said Turkey would continue to be by the side of Iraqi public in their fight against terrorism.
"We have learned in sorrow that 57 were killed and more than 200 people were injured in the bomb attacks in several cities of Iraq including Baghdad on July 29," said the ministry in a written statement.
"We wish God's mercy to our Iraqi brothers, condole their relatives and Iraqi public, and soon recovery for the wounded," stated the ministry, and added, "We feel great sorrow and concern for the increase of violence in our neighbor Iraq, particularly in holy Ramadan. We call for all Iraqi leaders, first and foremost Iraqi government to intensify their efforts to prevent the reprehensible attacks aim at creating secterian and ethnic conflicts, to bring peace and security to the country."
Finally the statement emphasized that Turkey would continue to be by the side of the brother and friend Iraqi public in their fight against terrorism.
