TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, revised tourism revenue of Turkey as 29.3 billion USD in 2012.
Tourism revenue, which had been released as 23.4 billion USD previously, increased 5.9 million, and was revised as 29.3 billion USD.
Meanwhile, tourism expenditures, which had been previously released as 4.051 billion USD, was revised as 4.5 billion USD.
Also, average expenditure per capita, which had been released as 637 USD previously, increased 161 USD and was revised as 798 USD.
TurkStat needed to revise the tourism figures as tourism methodology has been updated in recent years by Eurostat and WTO.
