The Turkish army Wednesday has hit a Daesh position in northern Syria, according to an official statement.
The statement issued by General Staff said the "position of terror organization Daesh was hit with six Firtina [storm] howitzers".
It also said a total of 525 targets had been hit since Operation Euphrates Shield -- which aims to drive Daesh out of the region to the south of Turkey’s border -- was launched on Aug. 24.
