Turkish fighter jets hit targets of the terrorist PKK group in southeast Turkey, the military said Thursday.
The Turkish General Staff said two successful airstrikes by F-16 aircraft were carried out in Daglica district, which lies on the Iraqi border, and Uludere, which also abuts Iraq.
The military did not say when the strikes were carried out or what damage had been inflicted.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization also by the U.S. and the EU -- resumed its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state in July, since when more than 400 members of the security forces have been martyred. Around 3,700 PKK terrorists have been killed in the same period.
