Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the government was determined to end PKK terrorism, adding that he was ready to risks.
"We are ready to use every instrument in this process and we do not think any interruption in this process. We know that we are taking a political risk here but me and party are ready to take that risk for the welfare of our country," Erdogan told a televised interview on private 24TV channel.
Erdogan was referring to talks between Turkish intelligence officials and the group's jailed leader, Abdullah Ocalan, in a bid to disarm the PKK.
PKK is recognized as a terrorist organization also by the United States and the European Union.
The conflict between PKK and Turkish troops has cost thousands of lives since 1984.
