UN Security Council strongly condemned tsuicide attack staged on a Damascus mosque on Thursday which killed more than 40 people.
In a statement released on Friday, the UN Security Council expressed deep sorrow over the suicide blast in the Damascus mosque.
Meanwhile Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Nusra Front condemned suicide blast on Thursday.
Spokesperson for the FSA, Abdulhamid Zekeriya had underlined that the suicide blast was not conducted by them.
"We strongly condemn today's suicide blast," Zekeriya had said.
