ANKARA
Turkish General Staff said Thursday that 2 thousand 679 people were detained mostly on Syrian border between June 7-13 for various crimes.
During the operations, cigarettes, fuel oil, drugs, animals, guns, mobile phones, clothes, electronic appliances and food were confiscated.
In the same period, 23 people were detained on Iranian border while 203 suspects on Greek and 18 suspects on Bulgarian borders were arrested.
