Twelve Bosnian artists who deal with practical arts, primarily 'fashion' and 'product' design, will exhibit their handwork at the 'Karas’ Gallery in Zagreb.
The Association of Artists of Fine and Practical Arts ofBosnia and Herzegovina exhibit in Zagreb at the exhibition "100% Art / Textiles & Leather in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in the section of 'product' and 'fashion' design.
The works of 12 artists who deal with weaving, handwork and other activities will be displayed at the "100% Art / Textiles & Leather in Bosnia and Herzegovina" exhibit which was organized with the help of the Norwegian Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Canton Sarajevo and the City of Zagreb. Croatian artists had previously exhibited their works in Sarajevo.
Bosnian fashion designer Milan Senic stated he is trying to adapt his works for the Bosnian market in a way that does not neglect global trends.
"My work is linked to Japanese aesthetics and I find inspiration in Japanese architecture and culture, trying to adapt it to a formal dress code in our region," said Senic.
The exhibition will be open in Zagreb until September 29, after which it travels to Novi Sad (Serbia).
