ISTANBUL (AA) - January 17, 2013 - Latest report released by Martyrs of the Syrian Revolution Database (SRMD) states that 4,355 children were killed in the past 672 days since the beginning of the conflict in Syria.
Martyrs of the Syrian Revolution Database (SRMD)on Thursday revealed the statistics of the children died due to the attacks in Syria.
Statistics show that 913 died in borbardments, 619 died due to airstrikes, 571 were shot and 245 lost their lives due to shootings by snipers.
3,199 of the children who were killed, were aged under 10.
According to the latest report released by SRMD in the operations conducted by the Assad forces since March 18, 2011, 44,104 civilians and 5,740 soldiers of the Free Syrian Army were killed.
