In a press release Turkish Foreign Ministry said it strongly condemned the apparently coordinated bombings that targeted Shiite pilgrims who marked the anniversary of the death of Imam Musa Kadhim.
The attacks that hit Baghdad, Karbala, Hilla, Kirkuk, Tikrit, Baquba, Balad, Felluja and Samawa were the deadliest in Iraq since August 15, 2011 when 74 people were killed.
The ministry said Turkey would continue act in solidarity with the Iraqi people in the fight against terrorism.
