IDLIB (AA) - September 4, 2012 - An Anadolu Agency (AA) team entered the Syrian city of Idlib on Tuesday where clashes between Assad forces and the Free Syrian Army (FSA) continue.
AA cameras shot video of opposition members who were wounded in clashes and how they were rescued.
The AA team reached Eriha district of Idlib where clashes between the Assad forces and the FSA have been continuing for the past five days.
The AA team was able to shoot video of how wounded individuals were rescued in Idlib.
The Syrian army has surrounded the city and continues air strikes as well as land attacks. Syrian troops frequently keep the city under artillery fire. Snipers on the roof of buildings shoot civilians that they see in the streets.
A support unit of the FSA entered Eriha through a valley in order to carry wounded opposition figures beyond the battle front. The AA team shot video of wounded individuals being carried away through the valley.
The wounded individuals get sent to the Meydan Hospital in Idlib in cars.
Clashes between the FSA and Assad forces continue on Tuesday.
