ANKARA
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Friday held a phone conversation with his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi.
Turkish diplomats told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that Davutoglu phoned Yang and thanked China for their support to Turkey's acceptance in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a "Dialogue Partner".
The issue of Syria was discussed by Davutoglu and Yang.
Davutoglu conveyed to Yang Turkey's concerns regarding the latest developments in Syria and underlined the increasing number of civilian massacres.
Davutoglu stressed in the phone conversation that China's attitude on the developments in Syria was important.
