ANKARA (AA) - September 4, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with Botswana's Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Phandu Tombola Chaka Skelemani over lunch in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Tuesday.
While Davutoglu's meeting with Skelemani was closed to the press, sources said that the two ministers discussed developing bilateral relations and commercial ties.
During today's meeting, Davutoglu and Skelemani reached an agreement to establish a political consultation mechanism between the foreign ministries of both countries and accepting diplomats of Botswana to the Diplomacy Academy of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier in the day, Skelemani was received by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag in Ankara.
