BERLIN
Germany is the latest country to back up the UN chemical weapons report released Monday and to publicly accuse Syrian leader of unleashing chemical attack on his own people.
German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle told the German newspaper Suddeutschezeitung, "the careful investigation by the UN Inspectors confirmed our supposition that only the Assad regime has the material and capabilities to implement a poison gas attack with such terrible consequences."
Westerwelle noted they share the point of view of the United States, France and Britain.
