The web pages of German Chancellery, Foreign Ministry and German Federal Parliament (Bundestag) has come under a cyber-attack, the German government's spokesman has said.
Steffen Seibert said at a press conference in Berlin on Wednesday that attacks had been carried out on the sites; www.bundeskanzlerin.de, www.bundesregierung.de, cvd.bundesregierung.de and www.bundestag.de.
"The federal press offices' computing center and system manager came under a cyber-attack by an external system and the analysis for the cyber-attack are still proceeding," he said.
"Counter measures against the cyber-attack have been immediately taken," Seibert added.
